For GE Oil & Gas will now sell a “VetcoGray fullborse subsea wellhead system,” or a “Hydril pressure control blowoutt preventer.” “The whole initiative is to reallyy streamline,” said Chau Nguyen, a Houston-based marketing manager for drillinfgand production, which essentially is a department former from the acquisitions of VetcoGray and GE Oil & Gas acquired VetcoGrat in January 2007 for $1.9 billion, and Hydril in Apriol 2008 for $1.1 billion.
“We’re takint (the brand) to the product holding on to the valud of the name but offerinh it through GEOil & Nguyen said. “We’re keeping and leveraging the brand.”
