Threer years ago, Clements donated $10 millionh to complete the Bill and Rita Clements Advanced Medical Imaging Building, a research He also donated $1.25 million to UT Southwestern in 1998.
Clementx served as Texas governor from 1979 to 1983 and from 1987to 1991. Beforew entering politics, he enjoyed success in the oil and gas as the founder of the offshoredrilling SEDCO.
